Privacy notice
This notice explains what information the All Told website collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. It covers this website only. The All Told app works differently: your financial information is stored on your own computer, not by me.
Who I am
All Told is run by Craig Girvan, who is the data controller for this website. You can contact me about anything in this notice at hello@alltoldapp.co.uk.
What I collect when you join early access
- Your email address.
- The date and time you signed up.
- If you arrived through a tagged link (for example from a social media post), the source, medium and campaign named in that link. This tells me which posts people find useful. It isn't linked to any other information about you.
I don't ask for your name and I don't collect anything else through the form.
Why I use it
I use your email address to send occasional updates about All Told, including when early access opens and, if you're interested, an invitation to try an early version.
My lawful basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where it's stored
Sign-ups are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, which hosts this website. The database is located in Western Europe. Cloudflare acts as my processor under its data processing terms.
Cloudflare runs a global network, so some processing, such as delivering this website to you, may happen outside the UK. Where Cloudflare transfers personal data from the UK, it relies on recognised safeguards, including the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
I don't sell your email address or share it with anyone for their own purposes. If I start using an email service to send updates, I'll name it here before I move your address to it.
How long I keep it
I keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. If All Told doesn't go ahead, I'll delete the list within 24 months of the last update I send.
Analytics and cookies
This website doesn't set any cookies of its own. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see overall figures such as page views, which websites send visitors here, and visitors' country and browser. It doesn't use cookies or similar storage on your device, and it doesn't identify or fingerprint individual visitors.
Like any website host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and it may set a strictly necessary cookie for that purpose.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what information I hold about you and give you a copy
- correct it
- delete it
- stop using it, including by withdrawing your consent
Email hello@alltoldapp.co.uk and I'll respond within one month. Every update I send will also include a way to unsubscribe.
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. I'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this notice
If I change how I use your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
